Electrical & Diagnostic Basics Practice

Practice units, circuits and safe low-voltage diagnostic principles. 20 original APG questions, short lessons and answer explanations.

Independent, unofficial learning practice. This is not an official exam, complete training course or certificate. Follow current local requirements and manufacturer instructions, and use qualified instruction for hands-on work.

Start with a short lesson

Understand the circuit

Trace power, protection, loads and return paths. Compare measurements with a wiring diagram and specifications.

Use the correct meter setup

Inspect leads and select the appropriate function and jacks. Resistance checks require a safely de-energized circuit. This section is introductory, not instruction to work on mains or EV high-voltage systems.
